Go Nutra's Organic AMLA FRUIT POWDER is Pure & All Natural.

Botanical Name: Emblica officinalis Also known as: Amalaki or Indian Gooseberry The Amla berry is often called “The Great Rejuvenator.” This superfruit berry has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine to flush toxins and is referred to as “Mother Nature” because of its many possible healing properties.

It supports allover well-being, promoting balance and health in many of the body’s systems. It contains strong antioxidants that may prevent cell degeneration, and is a rich source of ellagic acid, which reduces oxidative stress and fights free radicals. It is also used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for fertility and supporting healthy blood sugar levels. Amla is also useful in the cosmetic industry due to being an excellent moisturizer and promoting healthy luster on the skin, hair and nails.

Amla is one of the richest natural sources of Vitamin C, and contains many minerals and vitamins like Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Carotene and Vitamin B Complex. Amla is also a powerful source of antioxidants, phenols, and bioflavonoids.

It is often used to treat digestive problems, promote cell rejuvenation, and increase energy. In ancient Ayurveda practice, Amla is used for promoting longevity, improving digestion, purifying blood, strengthening the heart, stimulating hair growth, enhancing concentration and memory, and alleviating respiratory problems.

Ellagic acid is a powerful antioxidant, showing possible anti-carcinogenic and anti-mutagenic properties. Tests conducted at Hollings Cancer Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina reported that consuming ellagic acid was possibly the best way to fight cancer because it inhibited growth of cancer cells and prevented the growth of new cells in those predisposed to the disease.

Amla berries are a great source of bioflavonoids like Rutin and Quercetin, which act as antioxidants and anti-inflammatories. Amla Powder is a great way to increase energy, build muscle tone, and create strong bones, teeth, and nails. Some have even used Amla Powder to heighten libido and improve eyesight. Hair Health

Amla powder can be used to promote healthy hair and make hair appear more glossy and shiny. Amla is used in many hair tonics because it enriches hair growth and pigmentation. It strengthens the roots of hair, maintains color, and improves luster. Eating Amla or applying its paste on hair roots improves hair growth and color. Amla oil is very popular in India because it has been shown to reduce the chances of hair loss and baldness.

This quality is due to the carotene content of Amla, as well as its iron content and general antioxidant capacity, which reduces hair loss by not allowing free radicals to damage hair follicles or impact the hormones that can cause premature hair loss. Amla powder can be combined with water or added to shampoo. Gallic acid is a powerful phenolic compound found in Amla and has been shown to repair hair that has been previously damaged from dye or other environmental effects. It is also effective against dandruff and lice.

Skin Care:

Its cooling properties make it ideal for treating all kinds of skin disorders. It's often used as a natural cure for acne, and it may slow down the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Eye Care:

Drinking Amla juice with honey is good for improving eyesight, and studies have shown it to improve nearsightedness and cataracts, while reducing intra-ocular tension.

Menstrual Cramps:

Some of the minerals and vitamins in Alma combine to make it very useful in the treatment of menstrual cramps.

Amla contains chromium, which has a therapeutic value for diabetic patients. Indian Gooseberry stimulates the isolated group of cells that secrete the hormone insulin, thereby reducing blood sugar in diabetic patients and keeping their body balanced and healthy.
